This complies with the Data Protection Legislation which came in force in the UK on 25th May 2018. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), is EU wide legislation, and is currently being enacted into UK law and will become the 2018 Data Protection Act.

Personal data has been defined by the act as ‘any information relating to an identifiable person who can be directly or indirectly identified’, this will include such data as name and contact details, but may also include information such as IP Addresses.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, we collect information about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. We refer to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information.”

The personal data we collect about you may include data relating to your name, address, date of birth, wider contact details and data relating to ‘health” if applicable. We will process your personal data to allow us to provide you with our services, quoting for, arranging and administering your service, for statistical analysis and to assess your suitability to our services.
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
Testimonials and media images, videos will be for promoting Live4energy, Rachel Earing across all media outlets including social media and will not disclose personal contact details. Your data will also be used to manage future communications between us including about our products and services. You can opt out from receiving such communications services at any time by emailing Rachel@live4energy.co.uk Comments.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to save your login information and your screen display choices. Login cookies last for two days, and screen options cookies last for a year. If you select “Remember Me”, your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.
If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?
We use the Order Information that we collect generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, we use this Order Information to:

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
When visitors book an appointment on the site we collect the data shown in the appointments form to allow future contact with a client.
All collected data is not shown publicly but we can send it to our workers or contractors who will perform ordered services.
As described above, we use your Personal Information to provide you with targeted advertisements or marketing communications we believe may be of interest to you. RECORD KEEPING AND THE GDPR
It is a condition of our Insurance Policy to take and retain client records.
The records shall be kept for at least 7 years following the last occasion on which therapy was given. In the case of therapy to minors, it is advisable that records should be kept for at least 7 years after they reach the age of majority (18).
